Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets.
- Internal Controls & Compliance
- Establish financial controls to prevent errors and fraud.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Cash Flow Management
- Monitor cash position and liquidity.
- Manage working capital and banking relationships.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise accounting and finance staff.
- Coordinate audits and support management decision-making.
- Financial Analysis
- Analyze financial performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CIMA.
- Several years of accounting and financial management experience.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting software.
