Role Overview:
The Sales & Application Engineer combines technical expertise with sales skills to promote and support engineering products or solutions. The role involves understanding customer requirements, providing technical solutions, conducting product demonstrations, and supporting the sales process from inquiry to project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in target industries
- Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable solutions
- Provide product/application support and technical consultations
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals
- Conduct product presentations, demos, and site visits
- Coordinate with design, production, and service teams
- Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting when required
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide after-sales support
- Track sales pipeline and achieve revenue targets
- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Industrial)
- Experience in technical sales or application engineering
- Strong understanding of engineering products/systems
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into customer solutions
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- GCC experience is an advantage
